Info & Services
Getting Around
Oaxaca's historic centre is compact and made for walking with most of the city's best restaurants, markets, bars, and landmarks all within easy reach of the hotels we have recommended. For longer journeys, taxis are inexpensive and easy to find throughout the city.

For all scheduled events, the locations are all within the city centre. No transport is required.
Airport Transfers
We recommend booking airport transfers in advance. Although taxis are readily available on arrival at Xoxocotlán International Airport, it is a very busy time of year in the city and you may have to wait. Our organiser Gabriela and her team can arrange transfers and private vehicles for all group sizes - simply reach out to her before you travel, and she will take care of the rest.
Hair & Makeup
We have arranged for hair and makeup services to be available at Quinta Real Hotel for any guests that would like to book independently.
Information on services, fees, and how to book will be shared closer to the date.
Spa Treatments
Whether you are looking for a deep tissue massage after a day of exploring, a traditional Temazcal ceremony (a pre-Hispanic steam ritual using volcanic rocks, herbs, and medicinal plants) or a full spa day, Gabriela and her team can recommend and book the right experience for you. Several of the hotels on our list offer in-room massage services, and there are a number of excellent day spas in the Historic Centre worth knowing about. If wellness is a priority during your stay, let Gabriela know in advance and she will arrange everything before you arrive.
Traveling with Children
All wedding events and celebrations are adults-only, and we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children at any of the planned occasions. We completely understand that some guests may be travelling with little ones, and we have arranged a recommended and trusted childcare provider who can be booked independently. Please contact Gabriela and her team for details.
Excursions & Activités
Oaxaca rewards those who venture beyond the city as much as those who never want to leave it. From Monte Albán and Hierve el Agua to cooking classes, city tours, and artisan village day trips - there is no shortage of ways to spend your time in Oaxaca. Our organiser and her team know the city and surrounding region inside out, and can recommend, arrange, and book anything you need. If something in this guide catches your eye, or you have something specific in mind, reach out to them directly.
We want every guest to feel completely looked after during their time in Oaxaca. Should you need medical assistance during your stay, Gabriela and her team have trusted contacts with local English-speaking doctors who are available for consultations and home or hotel visits. For minor ailments, pharmacies are plentiful throughout the Historic Centre - Farmacias del Ahorro and Farmacia Guadalajara are reliable chains with wide-ranging stock, knowledgeable staff, and many medications available over the counter that would require a prescription at home. We strongly recommend all guests travel with comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical coverage. If you have specific medical requirements, allergies, or need guidance on what to bring from home, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Concierge Services
Whatever you need - from personal services and private drivers to restaurant reservations and day trips - Gabriela and her team are there to help. No request is too small, and we want every part of your time in Oaxaca to feel effortless.
Anything Else
If there is anything you would like to ask us directly, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We want this to be the most magical trip, and we are here to help make it so.
