Step back in time as you explore Monte Albán, the ancient capital of

the Zapotec civilization and one of Mexico's most remarkable

archaeological sites. Wander through its ceremonial plazas, temples,

and ancient tombs while discovering the rich history, culture, and

fascinating stories that shaped this UNESCO World Heritage Site. A

relaxed and enriching experience that offers a deeper appreciation of

Oaxaca's extraordinary heritage.

Martín Tilcajete, the birthplace of the iconic alebrijes. Guided by

local artisans, you'll learn about the history and symbolism behind

these hand-carved wooden figures before painting your own alebrije

to take home as a unique keepsake. A fun, creative, and authentic

cultural experience.

Visit the charming village of Santa María Atzompa, renowned for its

centuries-old pottery tradition and distinctive green-glazed ceramics.

Step inside a local artisan's workshop to learn about the techniques

and decorate your own clay piece under the guidance of experienced

potters.

This is a shared class. Reservations are made on a per-person basis,

Reconnect with yourself through an authentic temazcal ceremony,

one of Mexico's oldest ancestral healing traditions. Guided by an

experienced temazcalero, you'll enter a sacred stone steam lodge

where medicinal herbs, aromatic steam, and ancient rituals create a

space for physical, emotional, and spiritual renewal.
